For qualifying nonresidential installations of new electric ducted Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP).
These rebates cannot be used to retrofit packaged terminal air conditioning (PTAC) units.
Pre-condition: The existing building’s space is conditioned by a permanently installed electric resistance heating system as its primary heat source. No other heating sources are eligible.
Post-condition: Each installed ASHP must be an air-to-air heat pump and have an AHRI certificate of product rating.
Pre-condition: None. The ASHP Upgrade rebate may be used for any project where the post-condition requirements are met.
Post-conditions: Each installed ASHP must be an air-to-air heat pump, have an AHRI certificate of product rating, and meet the efficiency requirements for upgrades.
A project can claim both Retrofit and Upgrade rebates if all conditions are met.
To calculate the projected rebate, use either method:
Rebate(s) will not exceed 100% of the installed job cost.
Please allow 8 to 10 weeks after receipt of all required documentation for rebate checks to be issued and mailed. Rebates $200 or under will be automatically credited to your bill
