City of Shasta Lake Commercial Heat Pump Rebate

Offered to City of Shasta Lake commercial customers for purchase and installation of a new, qualifying Heat Pump.

This application should be submitted within six (6) months of the purchase or installation date.

Rebates are limited to 75% of the project’s total cost.

Rebate Amounts

65,000 Btuh or less: $225 per ton
*Minimum 16.0 SEER (equivalent to 15.3 SEER2) and 9.0 HSPF (equivalent to 7.7 HSPF2)

Between 65,000 and 134,000 Btuh: $150 per ton
*Minimum 16.0 IEER, 11.5 EER, and 3.5 COP

Between 135,000 and 239,000 Btuh: $125 per ton
*Minimum 15.5 IEER, 10.8 EER, and 3.48 COP

Between 240,000 and 759,000 Btuh : $150 per ton
*Minimum 14.4 IEER, 9.7 EER, and 3.4 COP

*All replacement equipment must be new and certified by the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Equipment tonnage is calculated using the cooling capacity listed on the AHRI certificate. Divide cooling capacity by 12,000 (1 ton = 12,000 Btuh), the result is not rounded. Example: AHRI cooling capacity 34,500/12,000 = 2.87-ton unit.
