City of Shasta Lake Commercial Electric Oven Rebate

Offered to City of Shasta Lake commercial customers for the purchase of a new Electric Combination, Convection, or Deck Oven.

This application should be submitted within six (6) months of the purchase or installation date.

Rebates are limited to 75% of the product’s total cost.

Before you get started

  • The new Combination oven must
    • replace a standard electric combination oven (various sizes of pans for half- and full-size ovens).
    • have a tested steam mode cooking energy efficiency of 50% or more.
    • have a convection mode cooking energy efficiency of 70% or more.
    • utilize ASTM F2861 and meet the idle rate requirements*.
    • be included on the Qualified Products List*.
  • The new Convection oven must
    • replace a standard electric convection oven (half- and full-size).
    • meet ENERGY STAR® specifications.
    • have a tested heavy-load potato cooking energy efficiency of 71% or more, utilizing ASTM Standard F1496.
    • Full-size electric ovens must have an idle rate of 1.6 kW or less.
    • Half-size electric ovens must have an idle rate of 1.0 kW or less.
    • be included on the Qualified Products List*.
  • The new Deck oven must
    • replace a standard full-size electric deck oven.
    • must have a tested heavy-load cooking energy efficiency of 60% or more.
    • must have an idle energy rate of 1,300 W or less, utilizing ASTM Standard F1965.
    • be included on the Qualified Products List*.

Rebate Amounts

Combination Oven: $1,500 to $3,000 per cavity (varies by number of pans)

Convection Oven: $600 per cavity for Half-Size; $750 per cavity for Full-Size

Deck Oven: $1,500 per cavity (multiple-deck oven configurations are paid per qualifying oven deck)

Rebates are paid as a check sent to the customer’s mailing address.

Allow 8 to 10 weeks to receive the rebate, if all qualifications are met.
