City of Shasta Lake Central Air Conditioner Rebate
Offered to City of Shasta Lake residential customers for purchase and installation of a new, qualifying Central Air Conditioner.
This application should be submitted within six (6) months of the purchase or installation date.
Rebate applies to existing homes only; new construction is not eligible.
Rebates are limited to 95% of the project’s total cost.
Rebate Amounts
$150 per ton
*Minimum 16.0 SEER and 12.8 EER (equivalent to 15.2 SEER2 and 12.2 EER2)
Payment method
Rebates that are $100 or less are paid as a credit on the customer’s utility account.
For rebates of more than $100, customers may receive a check or credit.
Please show your payment preference with a note at the end of the form, before you submit the request.
*All replacement equipment must be new and certified by the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Equipment tonnage is calculated using the cooling capacity listed on the AHRI certificate. Divide cooling capacity by 12,000 (1 ton = 12,000 Btuh), the result is not rounded. Example: AHRI cooling capacity 34,500/12,000 = 2.87-ton unit.
Allow 8 to 10 weeks to receive the rebate, if all qualifications are met.
