IDEA Smart Thermostat Rebate

Offered to customers of participating Idaho Energy Authority utilities for the purchase and installation of a new, qualifying smart thermostat.

To qualify for a rebate, the new smart thermostat must be on BPA’s approved products list and control one of the following heating systems:

Electric Forced-Air Furnace
Ducted Air Source Heat Pump with Electric Forced-Air Furnace backup

Variable speed heat pumps are not a qualifying system for the smart thermostat rebate.

Rebate: $100

Rebate will not exceed 100% of installed job cost.

Please allow 8 to 10 weeks after receipt of all required documentation for rebate checks to be issued and mailed. Rebates under $100 will be automatically credited to your bill.
