City of Shasta Lake Insulation Rebate
Offered to City of Shasta Lake residential single-family and multi-family properties for the purchase and installation of qualified new Insulation upgrades.
This application should be submitted within six (6) months of the purchase or installation date.
Rebates are limited to 95% of the project’s total cost.
To qualify for the insulation rebate, the area insulated must be conditioned with electric heating or cooling equipment.
Note: Pre- and Post-installation photos documenting insulation levels and your project’s final invoice(s)/receipt(s) are required to submit this application.
Rebate Amounts
Attic insulation: $1.00 per sq. ft.
- Qualifying homes must have central air conditioning, heat pump, or electric heat
- Existing Attic condition: R-19 or lower
- Final Attic condition: R-30 or higher
Wall insulation: $0.75 per sq. ft.
- Existing Wall condition: R-0
- Final Wall condition: R-13 or higher
Payment method
Individual rebates that are $100 or less are paid as a credit on the customer’s utility account.
For rebates that total more than $100, the customer may choose a check or credit for the entire sum.
Please show your payment preference with a note at the end of the form, when you submit the request(s).
Allow 8 to 10 weeks to receive the rebate, if all qualifications are met.
