City of Shasta Lake Commercial Central Air Conditioner Rebate

Offered to City of Shasta Lake commercial customers for purchase and installation of a new, qualifying Central Air Conditioner.

This application should be submitted within six (6) months of the purchase or installation date.

Rebates are limited to 75% of the project’s total cost.

Rebate Amounts

65,000 Btuh or less: $200 per ton
*Minimum 16.0 SEER (equivalent to 15.3 SEER2)

Between 65,000 and 134,000 Btuh: $100 per ton
*Minimum 12.0 EER (equivalent to 11.5 EER2) and 19.0 IEER

Between 135,000 and 239,000 Btuh: $75 per ton
*Minimum 12.0 EER (equivalent to 11.5 EER2) and 17.5 IEER

Between 240,000 and 759,000 Btuh: $50 per ton
*Minimum 10.8 EER (equivalent to 10.3 EER2)

*Equipment must be new and certified by the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Equipment tonnage is calculated using the cooling capacity listed on the AHRI certificate. Divide cooling capacity by 12,000 (1 ton = 12,000 Btuh), the result is not rounded. Example: AHRI cooling capacity 34,500/12,000 = 2.87-ton unit.
