City of Shasta Lake Commercial Package Terminal Air Conditioner Rebate

Offered to City of Shasta Lake commercial customers for purchase and installation of a new, qualifying Package Terminal Air Conditioner.

The unit must be installed in a Hotel or Motel.

This application should be submitted within six (6) months of the purchase or installation date.

Rebates are limited to 75% of the project’s total cost.

Rebate Amounts

7,000 Btuh or less: $200 per ton
*Minimum 11.29 EER (equivalent to 10.8 EER2)

Between 7,000 and 15,000 Btuh: $200 per ton
*Minimum 10.27 EER (equivalent to 9.8 EER2)

15,000 Btuh or more: $200 per ton
*Minimum 9.29 EER (equivalent to 8.9 EER2)

*Equipment must be new and certified by the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Equipment tonnage is calculated using the cooling capacity listed on the AHRI certificate. Divide cooling capacity by 12,000 (1 ton = 12,000 Btuh), the result is not rounded. Example: AHRI cooling capacity 34,500/12,000 = 2.87-ton unit.
