Offered to City of Ukiah Electric (UEU) residential customers with an active UEU account for qualifying Electric Bikes (E-Bike).
This application should be submitted within six (6) months of purchase date.
Eligibility
Rebate funds are reserved only for E-Bikes, purchased brand new or converted, which serve practical transportation and accessibility needs.
A qualifying E-Bike must have:
- Electric motor that does not exceed 750 watts
- Battery
- Fully operable pedals
Scooters or Segways, mopeds, and electric motorcycles do not qualify.
Rebate Amounts
Approved Ukiah Electric-CARES customer E-Bike: $700
E-Bike purchased at a Ukiah retailer: $400
E-Bike purchased from a retailer outside City of Ukiah: $300
E-Bike conversion kit: $50
Program Requirements
- The applicant must be a City of Ukiah Electric customer.
- Limit one E-Bike rebate per utility customer account.
- Rebates for Ukiah CARES customers will not exceed 100% of pre-tax purchase cost.
- Rebates for non-CARES customers will not exceed 75% of pre-tax purchase cost
- Your final invoice/receipt and a photo of the fully assembled E-Bike is required to submit this application.
Paid as a check sent to the customer’s mailing address.

Allow 8 to 10 weeks to receive the rebate, if all qualifications are met.
