Offered to Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative (PSREC) residential members for the purchase and installation of qualified new Replacement Windows.
This application must be submitted within six (6) months of the purchase or installation date.
Rebates are limited to 50% of the project’s total cost.
Rebate: $3 per square foot of total new windows area
Rebates of $250 or less will be applied as a credit on member’s utility account. Rebates above $250 will be issued as a check.
To qualify for the window replacement rebate, the area of window replacement must be conditioned with electric heating or cooling equipment.
Existing windows must be single-pane or double-pane with metal frames.
Replacement windows must have U-Factor of 0.30 or lower and a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of 0.25 or lower to qualify.
The following documents are required to submit this application:
- Your project’s final invoice(s)/receipt(s)
- The NFRC stickers from the new windows or the Manufacturer’s Order Confirmation
- Pre- and Post-installation photos documenting existing and final window frames
