Offered to Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative (PSREC) residential members for the purchase and installation of qualified new Insulation upgrades.
This application must be submitted within six (6) months of the purchase or installation date.
Rebates are limited to 50% of the project’s total cost.
To qualify for the insulation rebate, the area insulated must be conditioned with electric heating or cooling equipment.
Rebate Amounts
Attic insulation: $0.25 per sq. ft.
- Existing Attic condition: R-19 or lower
- Final Attic condition: R-49 or higher
Wall insulation: $0.25 per sq. ft.
- Existing Wall condition: R-0
- Final Wall condition: R-13 or higher
Floor insulation: $0.25 per sq. ft.
- Existing Wall condition: R-0
- Final Wall condition: R-19 or higher
Rebates of $250 or less will be applied as a credit on member’s utility account. Rebates above $250 will be issued as a check.
Please note: Pre- and Post-installation photos documenting existing and final insulation levels, and your project’s final invoice(s)/receipt(s) are required to submit this application.
