Plumas-Sierra ENERGY STAR® Ground Source Heat Pump Rebate

Offered to Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative (PSREC) residential members for the purchase and installation of a new ENERGY STAR® Certified Ground or Water Source Heat Pump.

This application must be submitted within six (6) months of purchase or installation date.

Rebate applies to existing homes only; new construction is not eligible.

Rebates are limited to 50% of total project cost.

Before you get started

New model must have ENERGY STAR® certification.
Your final invoice/receipt is required to submit this application.
The Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute’s (AHRI) Certificate is required to submit this application.

Rebate: $600 per ton

This rebate will be issued as a check sent to the provided mailing address.

Installations required by Title 24 codes and standards are not eligible for rebates.

We require the new Geothermal Heat Pump's AHRI Certificate to be provided by the contractor. Rebate applications without this information cannot be processed.
