Rebate: $20

Application must be submitted within 90 days of purchase.

Requirements

New ENERGY STAR® certified 208/240-volt AC Level 2 models with networking capability.
Listing on Bonneville Power Administration’s Qualified Products List (see link in application form, below).

Recommendations

Consider contacting a licensed electrician before you purchase, install, and operate a new Level 2 EV charger, if you are not sure whether your home’s electric service can accommodate charging.
Set it and forget it: KEC encourages members to selectively charge their EV during non-peak hours between 10 pm and 5 am. Non-peak charging benefits KEC members by spreading out the cooperative’s electric load over time, which reduces the need for costly system upgrades.
