Offered to City of Bandon residential customers who meet eligibility requirements.

Pre-approval is strongly encouraged.

Requirements

Your home

Primary heat source must be electric

Must be a single-family, multi-family or manufactured home

New construction homes are not eligible

Triple pane windows do not qualify for the window replacement rebate.

Qualifying conditions

Pre-existing windows or patio doors must be either single- or double-paned.

Replacement windows must have a U-factor of 0.30 or lower.

Replacement patio doors must have a U-factor of 0.35 or lower.

Rebates are not available for replacement windows or patio doors outside the electrically heated area (e.g., garages and workshops), or in any space with an overhead door.

Installations must meet the requirements highlighted on BPA’s Window Installation Checklist checklist. For complete specifications, instructions, and best practices for installations, see BPA’s contractors’ guide.

Verification

Pre-existing windows must be verified by one of the following options:

Contractor notes

Clear pictures (can include photos of old windows still on site)

Audit by a utility representative (via email, quote or final invoice)

Required Documents

A copy of one NFRC sticker per window or the manufacturer’s window order confirmation with U-factor.

The final invoice including the quantities and window measurements of each new window, the total cost (including labor) and purchase or installation date. Estimates, proposals or quotes are not accepted as the final invoice.

Verification of proper installations and window specifications, either by photos or a final inspection, are verified before rebates are processed.

This application applies to windows and patio doors only. Patio doors include sliding glass doors or French glass doors. Unless specified otherwise, the term "window" will be used throughout the rest of this application to refer to both windows and patio doors.
