Offered to Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative (PSREC) residential members for replacing a gas water heater with a new electric heat pump water heater.
This application must be submitted within six (6) months of purchase or installation date.
Rebates are limited to 50% of total project cost.
Before you get started
The following photo documentation for this project is required:
- Proof of the old gas water heater in service before removal.
- Proof of the new electric heat pump water heater in service.
- Proof that the old gas water heater’s gas line has been capped.
Rebate: $500 (limit of 1 per eligible home)
This rebate will be issued as a check sent to the provided mailing address.
Allow 8 to 10 weeks to receive the rebate, if all qualifications are met.
