Offered to Kootenai Electric Cooperative residential members who replace older, bi-metal type thermostats with new, energy-efficient devices. To qualify, new electronic Line-Voltage Thermostats must control zonal electric resistance or radiant heating units (such as baseboard, wall or ceiling/floor heaters). Ductless heat pumps and centrally-ducted systems are not eligible.

The Smart Thermostat rebate is offered for homes with ducted heat pumps or electric forced air furnaces.

The application must be submitted within 90 days of purchase or installation.

Rebate: $18 per unit

Rebate(s) will not exceed 100% of the installed job cost.
