Offered to Kootenai Electric Cooperative residential members who meet eligibility requirements.

The application must be submitted within 90 days of purchase or installation.

Eligible homes

Single-family Site Built (4 units or less) or Manufactured homes
New Construction

Any previous heating source is allowed in existing homes, including an old heat pump.

Requirements

Installation of a new, centrally-ducted Air Source Heat Pump performed by a licensed contractor.
Contractor provides AHRI Certificate or Reference Number that matches the new heat pump installed.
Minimum efficiency ratings verified by AHRI:

7.5 HSPF2 and 14.3 SEER2
or
8.8 HSPF and 15 SEER

Nonvariable speed: $300

Variable speed or inverter-driven: $600
