Non-Residential Variable Frequency Drives Rebate

Citizens Electric Corporation provides rebates for qualifying Variable Frequency Drives to commercial, industrial, and institutional members.

Before you get started

Applications should be submitted within 60 days after the project completion date.
Please see the Powerful Paybacks program rules before participating.

Specifications

New equipment must be <150 horsepower (HP).

Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) are not eligible for a rebate when they are required by energy code.

VFDs must be newly installed and must replace/augment single speed drives and motors.

Replacement of existing VFDs is not eligible for the rebate.

Rebate

$80 per rated HP

The incentive payment cannot exceed 75% of the total project cost. Self-labor cannot be included in total project cost.

Commercial, industrial, and institutional members are eligible for a maximum of $25,000 per individual site per calendar year.
