Plumas-Sierra Commercial Heating & Cooling Rebates

Offered to Plumas-Sierra Electric Cooperative commercial customers for purchase and installation of new qualifying HVAC systems.

This application should be submitted within 6 months of the purchase or installation date.

Rebates are limited to 50% of the project’s total cost.

The Central Air Conditioner and Air Source Heat Pump rebate measures apply to Split or Package/Unitary systems.

Please include your AHRI number in the Notes at the bottom of this form.

Rebate Amounts

Unitary Air-Cooled Heat Pump – Under 65 kBtu/hr: $500 per ton

Required minimum of 17.0 SEER (equivalent to 16.2 SEER2)

Unitary Air-Cooled Heat Pump – Over 65 kBtu/hr: $1,000 per ton

Required minimum of 17.0 SEER (equivalent to 16.2 SEER2)

Package Terminal Heat Pump – Under 24 kBtu/hr: $600 for replacement, or $100 for new construction

Must exceed code minimum by 20% (Please reach out to us for the minimum efficiency requirements)

Terminology

kBtu: One thousand British thermal units
SEER/SEER2: Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio/2

Rebates of $250 or less will be applied as a credit on member’s utility account. Rebates above $250 will be issued as a check.
