Offered to Lassen Municipal Utility District (LUMD) residential customers for the purchase and installation of a new, qualified Whole House Fan.
Applications must be submitted within six months of purchase or installation date.
All rebates are limited to 50% of cost.
Rebate and conditions
$25 per unit, to be paid as a credit to the customer’s utility account.
- Qualifying single-family homes must have central air conditioning or heat pumps without a whole-house fan or other automated fresh air sources.
- New whole-house fans must be permanently installed in the upper floor ceiling of the conditioned space of the home and must have insulated backdraft dampers.
- Garage whole-house fans are not eligible for rebates.
- Your final invoice/receipt is required to submit this application.
