Lassen Commercial Heating & Cooling Rebates

Offered to Lassen commercial customers for purchase and installation of new qualifying HVAC systems.

This application should be submitted within 6 months of the purchase or installation date.

Rebates are limited to 50% of the project’s total cost.

The Central Air Conditioner and Air Source Heat Pump rebate measures apply to Split or Package/Unitary systems.

Rebate Amounts & Requirements

Package Terminal Air Conditioner, Hotel/Motel – Non-Standard Sleeve

≤ 7,000 up to 24,000 Btuh: $125 per ton, EER ≥ 1.2 X [10.9 – (0.213 x Cooling Capacity/1000)]

Package Terminal Air Conditioner, Hotel/Motel – Standard Sleeve

7,000 Btuh up to 24,000 Btuh: $125 per ton, ≤ 7,000 up to 24,000 Btuh: EER ≥ 1.2 X [14.0 – (0.300 x Cooling Capacity/1000)]

Package Terminal Heat Pump, Hotel/Motel – Non-Standard Sleeve

≤ 7,000 up to 24,000 Btuh: $250 per ton, EER ≥ 1.2 x [10.8 – (0.213 x Cooling Capacity/1000)]; and COP ≥ 1.2 x [2.9 – (0.026 × Capacity/1000)]

Package Terminal Heat Pump, Hotel/Motel – Standard Sleeve

≤ 7,000 up to 24,000 Btuh: $250 per ton, EER ≥ 1.2 x [14.0 – (0.300 x Cooling Capacity/1000)]; and COP ≥ 1.2 x [3.7 – (0.052 × Capacity/1000)]

Packaged Air Conditioner: <65,000 Btuh: $150 per ton, 15.2 SEER2 minimum

Packaged Air Conditioner: 65,000 to 134,000 Btuh: $100 per ton, 11.5 EER and 14.6 IEER minimum

Packaged Air Conditioner: 135,000 to 240,000 Btuh: $75 per ton, 11.5 EER and 14.0 IEER minimum

Packaged Air Conditioner: 240,000 – 760,000 Btuh: $50 per ton, 10.8 EER and 13.0 IEER minimum

Packaged Air Conditioner: > 760,000 Btuh: $25 per ton, 10.2 EER and 12.3 IEER minimum

Central Heat Pump

Packaged Air-Cooled Heat Pump: <65,000 Btuh: $150 per ton, 15.2 SEER2 and 6.7 HSPF2 minimum

Split System Air-Cooled Heat Pump: <65,000 Btuh: $150 per ton, 16.2 SEER2 and 7.5 HSPF2 minimum

Packaged Air-Cooled Heat Pump: 65,000-134,000 Btuh: $100 per ton, 11.5 EER, 13.9 IEER, and 3.5 COP minimum

Packaged Air-Cooled Heat Pump: 135,000-239,000 Btuh: $75 per ton, 10.8 EER, 13.3 IEER, and 3.48 COP minimum

Packaged Air-Cooled Heat Pump: 240,000-760,000 Btuh: $50 per ton, 9.7 EER, 12.3 IEER, and 3.3 COP minimum
