Residential Window / Patio Door Rebate

 

Before the Installation of new Window(s)

  • To qualify for the window rebate, the home’s primary heating source must be electric & capable of heating the entire dwelling.
  • Eligible homes include single-family, multifamily, and manufactured homes.
  • The rebate is for the replacement of existing windows only. Window purchased for new construction homes do not qualify.
  • The windows or patio doors being replaced must be either single-pane, or double-pane with metal frames.
  • Replacement of existing double pane vinyl or double pane wood windows do not qualify for the rebate.
  • An audit of the existing windows, contractor notes or clear pictures of the existing windows must be submitted before the windows are replaced. We can also accept pictures of existing windows removed but still on-site as verification of eligibility.
  • The new replacement windows must have a U-factor of 0.30 or below, or 0.35 or below for patio doors. Learn more about energy-efficient windows.
  • Keep a copy of the NFRC Sticker(s) or a manufacturer window order confirmation document. Request these documents from your window supplier. This information must be submitted with the final paperwork.
  • All energy efficient upgrades must be installed according to BPA specifications installation and document requirements.

After Window Installation Requirements

  • A copy of one NFRC sticker per window or the manufacturers window order confirmation.
  • The final invoice including the quantities & window measurements of each new window, the installed cost including any labor and purchase or installation date.
  • Verification of the installed windows either by pictures of the new windows or a final inspection is required before the rebate will be processed.

Please note, all invoice(s) must be final, estimates, proposals or quotes are not accepted as the final invoice.

Rebate Amount

$5 per square foot

Rebates are limited to 100% of the total project cost.

Allow 8 to 10 weeks after final inspection approval and receipt of all required documentation for rebate checks to be issued and mailed.
