RESIDENTIAL EV CHARGER

Limit one (1) rebate per residential site.

Self-installation by Homeowner: $250

For homes with electrical service that is ready for you to plug the new charger into an existing 240-volt outlet.

To qualify, you must buy a brand new Level 2 programmable electric vehicle charger and self-install it at your home.

The new charger must have UL or ETL certification and the unit cannot be used, resold, or rebuilt.

Hardwired Installation by Electrician: $500

For homes that need upgrade work performed by a licensed electrician to install the charger.

To qualify for this rebate amount, the charger installation must be performed by an electrical contractor with an active Oregon CCB license number.

If the charger installation is part of a project that requires the Douglas County Building Department’s electrical inspection, please include the final, approved county permit in the rebate application.
