Cold Climate – Ducted Split System Air Source Heat Pump

Conditions

For new construction or existing single-family/manufactured homes with any of the following:

• Electric resistance heating (zonal or forced air furnace)
• Natural gas, propane, or fuel oil forced air furnace
• Existing air source heat pump

Eligibility requirements

• Minimum 15.2 SEER2, 8.1 HSPF2, COP@5° ≥ 1.75, and the equipment must be Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) approved as a “cold climate heat pump.” You can check their directory here: https://ashp.neep.org/.
• Not all NEEP approved cold climate heat pumps meet the program’s minimum requirements and all minimum’s listed above must be met to qualify for a rebate.
