- Primary heat source must be electric
- Must be a single-family, multi-family low-rise or manufactured home
- Multi-family mid/high-rise homes are not eligible
- New construction homes are not eligible
The Project
- The new exterior door must replace an uninsulated or otherwise thermally substandard exterior door
- The door must separate an electrically heated space from the outside or unheated area (e.g. an unheated garage)
- The new exterior doors must be pre-hung and ENERGY STAR® certified, installed to BPA specifications
Verification
- Pre-existing doors must be verified by one of the following options:
- Contractor notes (via email, quote or final invoice)
- Clear pictures (can include photos of old doors still on site)
- Audit by a utility representative
