Columbia River PUD offers income-qualified customers energy efficiency upgrades at little or no cost, for homes that meet the requirements.
Homes must have both electric space heating and electric water heating to qualify.
Upgrades include insulation, windows, heat pumps, and heat pump water heaters that are installed by an active-licensed contractor.
To participate, CRPUD customers must be income-qualified through the utility’s Special Waiver electric rate. This requires an approval from CRPUD.
