Important Information About Central Lincoln’s Rebate Programs
These programs are designed to support our customers in improving energy efficiency; however, please be aware of the following conditions:
- Qualification Does Not Guarantee Rebate Payment: While you may meet all the criteria to qualify for a rebate, issuance is contingent upon the receipt of Energy-Efficiency Implementation (EEI) funding from the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). Due to uncertainties in BPA funding, we cannot assure immediate disbursement, and rebate payments may be subject to delay or denial.
- Dependency on BPA Resources: All rebate programs depend on the availability of funds from the BPA. Consequently, the details and availability of these rebates are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
Advanced Rooftop Unit Control (ARC) rebates are available only for qualifying retrofits installed on an existing Rooftop Unit (RTU). Heating fuel may be electric or gas.
Pre-condition requirements for existing RTU:
- Cooling capacity equal to or greater than five tons
- Unitary system (split systems are not eligible)
- Constant-speed supply fan (RTUs with variable speed fans are not eligible)
Retrofit-Lite: $120 per ton
ARC-Lite products add one of the following equipment options to the existing RTU:
- VFD and controller for variable speed fan operation; or
- Multispeed motor and controller for multispeed fan operation
Retrofit-Full: $250 per ton
In addition to one of the ARC-Lite options, Full-ARC products also add a controller with all of the following enabled:
- Digital, integrated economizer control with either differential dry-bulb, or differential enthalpy with fixed dry-bulb high-limit shutoff; and
- Demand Control Ventilation with proportional control, based on CO2 sensor reading
The ARC must be listed on Bonneville Power Administration’s qualified products list.
ARC projects are not eligible for the Connected Thermostat rebate.
Please note: Rebate(s) will not exceed 70% of the installed job cost. To calculate the projected rebate, either:
- Sum the tons from all heat pumps installed, then round to the nearest whole ton; or
- Round each individual heat pump to the nearest whole ton, then sum all rounded tons.
