Requirements

  • New, qualified Heat Pump Water Heater replaces any existing water heater.
  • Your model must be on the BPA qualified products list (see link at start of application, below).
  • Limit one (1) Heat Pump Water Heater rebate per site.
  • New construction homes do not qualify.

Amounts

40-gallon, any tier: $700

50-gallon or higher, Tier 3 or 4: $1,400

Split-system model (any size): $1,600

Rebate will not exceed 70% of the heat pump water heater’s cost. Installation costs are not included.

Current rebate amounts available for receipts dated on or after April 1, 2023.

Allow 8 to 10 weeks after receipt of all required documentation for rebate checks to be issued and mailed.
