Rebate Requirements

Please review carefully before purchase!

• New, qualified Heat Pump Water Heater (HPWH) must replace an existing water heater.
• Installation should be performed by a licensed Contractor with an active state registration.
• Self-installation may qualify according to additional conditions, below.
• Your model must be on the BPA qualified products list. See link to the list at start of application, below.
• New construction homes do not qualify.
• Limit one (1) Heat Pump Water Heater rebate per site.

Self-installation conditions

• New HPWH must be properly vented or installed in an unconditioned space such as a garage or unheated basement.
• An inspection will be performed to verify the self-installation.

Rebates

40-gallon (any tier) or any size Tier 3: $1,500

50-gallon or larger, Tier 4: $1,800

Split-system model, any size: $2,200

Rebate will not exceed 100% of the heat pump water heater’s cost. Installation costs are not included.
