Offered to Lassen Municipal Utility District (LUMD) residential customers for the purchase and installation of a new, ENERGY STAR certified Smart Thermostat.
Application must be submitted within six months of purchase or installation date.
All rebates are limited to 50% of total project cost.
Rebate and conditions
$50 per unit, to be paid as a credit to the customer’s utility account.
- Rebate is for the replacement of existing, non-connected, programmable or manual thermostats only.
- New device must have ENERGY STAR certification.
- Smart Thermostat must control a Central Air Conditioner or Heat Pump.
- Limit one smart thermostat rebate per home. Two rebates are allowed only if the two smart thermostats are controlling separate AC or Heat Pump systems.
