Requirements
- The EV must be purchased in San Joaquin County.
- The EV buyer must be a Lodi Electric Utility residential account holder at the time of purchase.
- The EV must be registered with DMV in the Lodi utility account holder’s name, at their utility service address.
- Vehicle is all-electric, fully battery-powered, zero emission.
Types of vehicles that do not qualify
- EVs purchased outside San Joaquin County are not eligible.
- Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) and gas-electric Hybrid vehicles are not eligible.
- Leased EVs are not eligible.
- Company EVs and EV resales are not eligible.
Documents you need to apply
- Invoice, order confirmation, contract/agreement, or receipt from seller.
- DMV Bill of Sale (the form submitted to DMV with vehicle registration application, or an acceptable bill of sale).
- Final vehicle registration from DMV.
Limits
- One rebate per Lodi Electric Utility customer.
- One rebate per EV.
