Your Home
- Primary heat source must be electric.
- Must be a single-family, multi-family or manufactured home.
- Manufactured homes are not eligible for the wall insulation rebate.
- New construction homes are not eligible.
Qualifications
- Rebates are not available for insulation upgrades outside the electrically heated area (e.g., garages and workshops), or any space with an overhead door.
- Installations must meet the requirements highlighted in BPA’s weatherization contractor’s guide. Please see the specifications given for each type of insulation project area (wall, attic, floor).
Verification
Pre-existing insulation must be verified by one of the following options:
- Contractor notes verifying beginning & ending R-value (via email, quote or final invoice).
- Clear pictures of the existing insulation with a tape measure showing the depth.
- Audit of the existing insulation by a utility representative.
- Wall insulation: In-progress pictures or notes from the contractor.
