Conditions
For new construction or existing single-family/manufactured homes with any of the following:
- Electric resistance heating (zonal or forced air furnace)
- Natural gas, propane, or fuel oil forced air furnace
- Heat pump added to an existing fossil fuel furnace
- Condenser coil and furnace must be new and installed as a matched set
Unitary/Packaged systems are not eligible.
Efficiency requirements
Minimum 15.2 SEER2, 7.5 HSPF2, and 90% AFUE.
