Existing Conditions
For new construction or existing single-family/manufactured homes with any of the following:
- Electric resistance heating (zonal or forced air furnace)
- Natural gas, propane, or fuel oil furnace
- Existing air source heat pump
- Existing geothermal/ground source heat pump
Final Conditions
- Closed Loop Water to Air system with minimum 17.1 EER and 3.6 COP
- Closed Loop Water to Water system with minimum 16.1 EER and 3.1 COP
Amount: $750 per Ton
Residential members are eligible for a maximum of $4,000 in rebates per calendar year. All replacement equipment must be new and certified by the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Equipment tonnage is calculated using the cooling capacity listed on the AHRI certificate. Divide cooling capacity by 12,000 (1 ton = 12,000 Btuh), the result is not rounded. Example: AHRI cooling capacity 34,500/12,000 = 2.87-ton unit.
